About Me

I grew up in Flint, Michigan where I graduated from high school in 1989. I graduated from college in Pensacola, Florida in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.

After graduation, I was the principal designer for Royal Service and thenMissions Mosaic magazines at the Woman’s Missionary Union, in Birmingham, Alabama before accepting a design position with Details Communicationswhere I had the opportunity to facilitate the launch of Details’ New Media Group.

While directing Details’ New Media Group, I honed a number of skills from audio and video editing to digital image manipulation and interactive CD authoring. However, it was my passion for providing customers with professional, low-cost, easy to use websites that inspired me to concept, design and build one of the earliest content management systems on the Web.

Within a year of its debut in 1999, use of the new CMS, grew so quickly that Details decided to launch Praktikos Technologies, a new company completely dedicated to managing and supporting E-zekiel. In 2004, Praktikos Technologies merged with the Worklife company of Montgomery, Alabama to form Axletree Media. I am a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer and currently serve as the Vice President of Technology and Engineering at Axletree.
